Sometimes, we often forget to give ourselfs a rest to recharge from the day or week so here's many reasons why you should be giving yourself a break even if it's just for 10 minutes a day or a certain day of the week when it's not as hectic:
1) To Reduce Stress!
No one likes being stressed, it's awful isn't it? Well, taking a break can help you destress so you have more of a drive towards your work but then also you won't feel as stressed compared to if you didn't have a break.
2) It Gives You Time To Focus On You!
If you're busy 99% of the time then a break could be really helpful for you, you could use the time on a hobby, to pick up a new exercise or spend time with your loved ones - it doesn't always have to be spent alone and boring.
3) It Can Give You Planning Time
Something I think every carer should consider at least doing is planning their time out in a schedule, so like let's say 5am you wake etc so then you know exactly what you need or should be doing at what time and giving yourself a break could give you the time to go over your plan to make sure it works and is all set for either the week or next day.
