Here's some of our top lifestyle changes people should make when considering retirment to make sure they get the best out of it with no stress.
They should make sure they can financially afford it, that they're getting the money they have a right to and maybe talk to someone at their local bank about it to see what advice they could give.
2) Prepare for the ups and downs
Before going into retirement they should consider what could go wrong and solutions to those problems ahead of time, if they can't think of any maybe try googling it or finding someone that they can talk to about it who has retired for a few years.
3) Get a hobby if they don't have one
Not everyone has a hobby, especially if they're working a lot or too busy but when you retire you get lots of free time, so it's always best to look into having new hobbies like gardening, art, reading etc
4) Join local clubs or communities
If they don't particularly have family or friends this could help a lot when their retirement finally happens with the lonliness many feel during it.
